Le choix de sa positionfait honneur au goût de lami dHorace et de Virgile ; car de là on ala vue magnifique de Tivoli, des cascadelles et de la campagne deRome. Parmi beaucoup de ruines qui font voir combien cette villaétoit étendue, on voit cette arcade remarquable, quon appelle com-munément le Pont de Varus.
