Piermaster's House situated between the Albert Dock and Merseyside Maritime Museum in Liverpool now a 1940s wartime house. Built in 1852 for the Piermaster and his family, it was originally one of four and is the only one to have survived the heavy bombing of the Second World War. In 2003 it was themed as a wartime house, dressed with original period furniture and objects and is now open to the public as part of the Liverpool Museum.
