Original early 1900's postcard of two young lads, friends, sitting together on a motorbike outside Maynard Brothers Garage, Machine Shops, Upper Woolhampton, Berkshire, The garage is constructed of corrugated tin / iron. A bicycle is propped up outside. One of the lads wears improvised goggles, the pillion passenger wears paint- splattered workman's trousers. Circa 1920's
Postcard dated to circa 1925. By 1927 trousers had become much wider at the bottom. More research needed as to date.
