McKay as direc-tor of the Bureau of Information inconnection with the Temple andChurch College of New and Sister Dennis received theircalling while still on a labour missionat the College-Temple project. Elder Dennis was called to NewZealand to supervise the painting ofthe Temple and College and they ar-rived on September 26, 1955, accom-panied by their son, Steve. Prior to their mission, they residedin California, belonging to the Morn-ingside Park Ward, Inglewood Elder Dennis was serving in thebishopric of the ward when he wascalled to assist with the College pro-ject here. He has served as Presidentof the MIA, Superintendent of theSunday School, and Elders QuorumPresident. Sister Dennis has workedin the Primary for 20 years, servingas President of the Inglewood andMorningside Park Ward Primariesand in Stake capacities. At the conference held in Aucklandwhen the new Stake was organized,Elder Dennis was called and set apartas the Bishop of the Temple ViewWard, and now serves in that capacityin addition to his duties as directorof the Bureau of Information. 254 TE KARERE
