Colonel (ret.) Maurice Rochelle, an ordained minister, served as the Chaplain for the Illinois Army National Guard's retirement ceremony for both Colonel Craig Holan and Colonel Nick Johnson. Col. Holan retired with nearly 40 years of service and Col. Johnson had 32 years of service. Both served as brigade commanders and key staff officers, with Col. Holan commanding the 404th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade and Col. Johnson commanding the 65th Troop Command.
