Eynsford Castle


Eynsford is a village parish in the Sevenoaks District of Kent, England. It is located miles south east of Swanley and miles due north of Sevenoaks town the north is the village of Farningham. This area is undulating and has fields and woodland. In the south of the parish is Lullingstone with its manor house and part of the late medieval Lullingstone Castle. Eynsford Castle is a larger ruin in the village dating to Norman times . Lullingstone Roman villa and Eagle Heights are other popular attractions in the village. The village is situated in the Darenth Valley and on the river Darent. The most iconic view of the village is by the ford and small stone bridge oposite St Martins church with a selection of Tudor buildings on the oposite side
