Within the past two years we 'heard of several cases where upwards of 8,000 blossoms have teen produced by a single plant. This marvelous prodigality of â Ijloom is not unusual with it, as it succeeds everywhere. As a pot plant, it is unequaled for decorative purposes, thousands of pots of it in bloom being sold in Philadelphia last Easter. The blooms remain on the plant for a great length of time without â losing their biightness, the foliage is also retained to a great ex- tent during the winter, making the plant almost evergreen.
