Members of the Kansas State Flo- rists' Association, 170 strong, assembled at Fredonia, Kan., August 3, for the second annual convention of the asso- ciation. In 1921, at Topeka, there were 158 present. The quick conclusion is that the organization is progressing; this is shown in many other ways also. The association came together pre- pared to accomplish as well as to enjoy. And a considerable time before the order for adjournment had been given balloting had shown the following elected to oflSces for 1923: President, L. E. Flindt, Arkansas City, Kan.; vice- president, Robert Fields, Kansas City, Mo.; second vice-president, L. D. Fisher, Sterling, Kan.; secretary-treasurer, Loyd C. Bunch, Fredonia, Kan.; direc- tor, O. G. Rindom, Emporia, Kan. Loyd C. Bunch was elected state vice-presi- dent of the S. A. F. Points Accomplished. On the opening day of the meeting, just following a successful meeting of the board of directors, J. F. Ammann, of Edwardsville, 111., delivered a rous- ing talk on the F. T. D. in his usual magnetic manner. He explained the F. T. I)., its purposes, its aims and its achievements.
