Brig. Gen. Jeff Van, the deputy commanding general of 35th Infantry Division pins the expert infantryman badge on Spc. Andres Zuleta of Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division at Camp Buehring, Kuwait, Oct. 1, 2017. Zuleta was also awarded an Army Commendation Medal for being “true-blue,” meaning he earned the EIB without a single no-go at any station.
