A proboscis monkey feeding on the banks of the Sekonyer River, Tanjung Puting National Park, Kalimantan Tengah, Borneo.

This male proboscis monkey is centrally placed in the frame, surrounded by foliage. His eyes are closed and he is scratching his nose with his left arm/hand. His right hand holds a shoot that he is about to eat. Proboscis monkeys are endemic to Borneo and, like the orangutan, are an endangered species due to destruction of its natural habitat by illegal logging and palm oil harvesting. Vertical format with space for copy if required.
