The head of a stone lion, which holds the town crest, can be seen in front of Breda's Grote Kirk (Big Church). The medieval building stands in the centre of the Dutch city. It was built in the Brabantine Gothic style. The tower stands 97 metres (318 ft) high. The church is sometimes called "Onze Lieve Vrouwe Kerk" meaning "Church of Our Lady".
