Air Force Staff Sgt. James Wright, Air Forces in Europe Band trombonist, built relationships through music while participating in multiple events Aug. 18-24 throughout Kyiv to celebrate Ukraine’s 30th anniversary of independence. Wright, a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has had the opportunity to play with groups such as the Canadian Brass, Pentatonix, The Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Chicago. In his free time, he enjoys running and volunteering for the American Red Cross.
