Jack Oakie, American actor, 1934-1935. Born Lewis Delaney Offield, Oakie is best remembered for his role as Benzino Napaloni, the fictional dictator of Bacteria in Charlie Chaplin's The Great Dictator (1940). Taken from Meet the Film Stars, by Seton Margrave. (London, 1934-1935).
