Royal Mail unveiled five special postboxes across the UK ahead of the 2022 Commonwealth Games. The postboxes are pink and purple along with graphics and encouraging messages to participating teams. The postboxes are in Birmingham, London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast. This one (a type A pillar box by Machan engineering) is in Birmingham on New Street alongside a parcel postbox in usual red colour.
