New York Army National Guard Command Sgt. Maj. Kevin Roeser of 2nd Squadron, 101st Cavalry Regiment congratulates Sgt. Zachary Marafioti, a cavalry scout assigned to the squadron's Alpha Troop, at the conclusion of the squadron's Best Warrior Competition in Ellicottville, New York on May 22. Marafioti placed first in the competition's nononcommissioned officermmissioned officer category, which tested physical fitness and endurance, military knowledge and bearing, and basic Soldier skills.
