While they are advertised to cureall kidney ills the assertion is a false one. The death certificate shows that Mrs. Butchersuccumbed to kidney disease two months before her testimonial was published. The viciousness of the patent medicine business lies not somuch in it^ assault on the public purse as in its insidiousdangers to the public health.
