In the three new varieties here offered Mr. Burbank states that the effort has been to increase the vigor and perpetual flowering quality of the original strain, all of which has been wonderfully developed in the set in this collection. The whole plant and flowers are gigantic, but compact and graceful in every respect, the flowers average 4^ to 5 inches across with from 38 to 42 wide petals, which are of a glistening white, and a very small disc.
