Airmen from the 5th Civil Engineer Squadron participated in an Expeditionary Training Day at Minot Air Force Base, , June 1, 2017. More than 60 CE Airmen participated in the training, which consisted of four flights completing an array of deployment-type tasks. The day began with a “bag drag” and 6-mile ruck march, followed by tent set-up, rappelling, helicopter hoists, search-and-rescue training, convoy operations and Self-Aid and Buddy Care. The unit held the event to better prepare their Airmen for combat deployments.
