Yearbooks of the University of Uppsala from the beginning of the 20th century. Old books in the Carolina Rediviva. It is the oldest and largest library in Sweden and the main library of Uppsala University. Its greatest treasure is the Codex Argenteus, or Silver Bible. It dates from the 6th century and is one of the earliest written documents in the Germanic language. The Carolina Rediviva also holds around 5 million books and more than 30,000 manuscripts.
