Opening Ceremony, 29th Olympics, Beijing, 2008

During the August 8, 2008, Olympic Opening Ceremony, gray boxes used to depict old-fashioned printing blocks as part of China's history of writing open up to reveal hundreds of Chinese dancers. The dancers in their typesetting costumes had formed the Chinese character for the word "harmony."
