Oneof these five brothers is supposed to be the father of ThomasJames. Thomas James in 1793 married Ann White, b. 2-9-1770,niece of Daniel White who was with Marion. William James, after the death of his first wife in 1847,married her brothers, Ezekiel Cloyds widow, Mrs. Agnes , whose maiden name was Campbell. Of this union, VolneyJames married Josephine Fife, has three daughters and residesin Nashville. James Children : 201. Sarah Caroline, b. 1-24-1818; m. E. H. Stanley.
