Anthera fere tota supra la- bellum exserta, thecis elongatis divaricatis acutis. Blatt 240—360 mm lang, 70—100 mm breit (nur die zwei oberen Blätter liegen vor). Traube 200 mm lang. Das breite Filament verschmälert sich allmählich in das Konnektiv und trägt zwei kurze stumpfe Zähnchen etwa 2 mm unterhalb der Anthère. Nordost-Neu-Guinea: In den Wäldern des Ibogebirges, ca. 1000 m (Schlechter n. 17081. — 29. Dez. 1907). Die Beschreibung stimmt zum größten Teil mit derjenigen von A. floribunda K.
