Grantchester Mill Cambridge This picturesque old mill is on the upper river about two miles from Cambridge, and is a favourite rendezvous of boating parties. The walk from Cambridge to this mill is by 'Varsity men called the Grantchester Grind. The famous Byron's Pool is just below the mill Painted by William Matthison, 1853-1926 in 1907
