Air Force Staff Sgt. Sarah Cosano, Air Forces in Europe Band saxophonist, built relationships through music while participating in multiple events Aug. 18-24 throughout Kyiv to celebrate Ukraine’s 30th anniversary of independence. Cosano, a native of Filer, Idaho, worked on cruise ships for 11 years before joining the Air Force and completed her doctorate at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2019.
