Borth, near Aberystwyth, Wales, UK. 14th Feb, 2014. The seaside village of Borth on the edge of Cardigan Bay, already battered by the recent violent storms, faces another threat as Cors Fochno - "Borth Bog" catches fire and flames, driven by the high wind, draw nearer to homes. The railway line from Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth, which runs between Borth houses and Cors Fochno has been closed. The cause of the fire is not yet clear. The local fire brigade is on standby at the Borth and Ynyslas Golf Club which runs adjacent to the bog. Credit: Live News
