Singapore - February 24, 2013: A Chinese dance troupe performs a traditional Lion Dance to usher in the Chinese lunar new year. To welcome and celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year, it is customary among Chinese communities to perform a traditional lion dance to bring in prosperity and happiness for the coming year. Here spectators watch a lion dance troupe perform in a public area outside a food court in the Toa Payoh district of Singapore. The lion dance is believed to bring good luck and fortune to the business and the troupe is rewarded with the "red envelope," cash.
