The families of Sgt. Baron Carwyle, of Pontotoc, and Staff Sgt. Mike Chism, of Corinth, welcome home their Soldier, Feb. 18, 2019 at Thompson Field in Flowood. Carwyle, with the 2d Battalion, 114th Field Artillery Regiment, and Chism, with the 1st Battalion, 98th Cavalry Regiment, were among approximately 250 Soldiers of the Mississippi Army National Guard’s 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team returning home from Kuwait in support of Operation Spartan Shield. The two flights Monday were the first in a series with approximately 3,000 brigade personnel returning home this spring.
