A Naga tribeswoman. DONEGAL, IRELAND: REMARKABLE portraits have captured the faces of the last members of an ancient Indian head-hunting tribe. Striking images reveal the distinctive facial features of the Konyak tribe from North Eastern India, thought to be over 80 years old. Various photos ooze a sense of wisdom as each portrait captures every wrinkle on their faces. The incredible shots were captured in Nagaland, India, by travel photographer, Trevor Cole who lives in Donegal, Ireland. The ancient head-hunting tribe are thought to be the last of their kind, with a population of only around 320,000 worldwide. The tribe was largely unknown up until the British colonisation of India and Burma and are, therefore, steeped in mystery. mediadrumimages / Trevor Cole
