If there is high tem-perature, 102° to 107° (10T° to 108° is fatal), the first point is to reducethe fever. In first stage, aconite internally is best; externally,wrapping the body and extremities to equalize the temperature. The hearts action is the next great point. Thirty-four to fortybeats to a minute is normal ; below that indicates debility.
