Soon the proper papers weremade out and a sum of less than two dol-lars paid over to the father to release hisclaim. In the brief time she has beenwith us she has been born again. Sheis bright and winsome and has everypromise of becoming a noble woman. One of the greatest difficulties in theschool has been the securing of com-petent teachers. March1916 The Missionary Visitor ioi Mr. Wang, who taught some of theChinese studies. Miss Yang wassucceeded by Miss Chao, also from Tai-ku. She was better educated, but herproud and haughty spirit soon unfittedher for work and she had to be senthome. Then came Miss Kuo, a school-mate of Miss Chao. She has done goodwork and has been hired for this follow-ing school year. We are about to close the third yearswork—a successful one, too. The mostdifficult task of opening the school hasbeen accomplished, and from now onit means more detailed organization anddevelopment. The Lord has given usthe school, He has prospered it, and Hewill sustain it.
