Softwood tree on the bank of the Swift River during the winter months. This river travels along side of the Kancamagus Highway (route 112) which is one of New England's scenic byways in the White Mountains, New Hampshire USA. This area was part of the Swift River Railroad, which was an logging railroad in operation from 1906 - 1916.
