The 63rd has the ability to identify and mitigate most chemical, biological or nuclear threats. Since March 2020, the 63rd has been on the frontlines in the battle against COVID-19, providing support to communities throughout the state. They are credited with the decontamination of dozens of long-term care facilities, potentially saving the lives of hundreds of Oklahoma’s elderly.
