Dutch landscape with the old windmill 'De Trouwe Wachter'. De Trouwe Waghter is a hollow post mill east of Tienhoven village in the Dutch province of Utrecht. The mill was built in 1832 to replace two old mills. Until 1948 the mill has drained the polder through a paddlewheel. The mill was restored by Natuurmonumenten in 1970 and 2011. In wwII miller Arie van Garderen gave signs to people in hiding through the wicks.
