He also for a time liad teams onthe road freighting goods from Philadelphia toEaston, Bethlehem, and Nazareth, witli an occasion-al visit to Pittsburg and other points west. Duringhis absence from home, Mar. 4, 1804, his barn wasstruck by lightning and burned.
