Mushroom from the Martin Breg hill forest, near Dugo Selo, Croatia.

Entire year was rainy. Before this shoot, rain fell sporadically for weeks. The sight from the forest after that was unbelievable, there were literally hundreds of thousands of mushrooms in the woods. Wherever one would stand, there were swarms of mushrooms around feet. As far the sight go, there were mushrooms. At first, the entire sight was dreamy, and the smell of mushrooms was very pronounced. However, after a wile, the realization came that these cute looking saprophytes were not friendly as they looked. Not only that many, if not most of the ones seen were poisonous, but the person wandering around too much could become lunch himself. I couldn't escape that feeling.
