Ayesha AKA Aisha (612-67-), 3rd wife of Muhammad, being led into captivity after a battle at the Valley of the Lion, near Basra in Iraq. Her father Abu Bakr, became the first caliph to succeed Muhammad, later succeeded by Umar ibn Al-Khattab, who Aisha apposed, though she did not agree either with his assassination or Ali ibn Abi Talib, cousin and son-in-law of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, who ruled as the fourth caliph. Ayesha attempted to avenge Uthman's death, in the Battle of the Camel but lost the battle and was taken into captivity by Ali ibn Abi Talib.
