In some instances similar wastingis present in the arm and shoulder, on the entire side of the body or onboth sides of head and body. In certain rare instances other plaquesor stripes of scleroderma are found widely distributed in the samepatient (Cassirir). Clinically, it may begin in a widening sclerodermic patch on theside of the face, but more commonly the entire half of the face graduallydiminishes. The loss affects both
