Paris, France - 17 September 2018 Saint-Germain l'Auxerrois used to be the local church for folk living in the nearby Louvre Palace. Couldn't they afford to build one inside? A church has been on this site since the 7th century, and the present building is an eclectic mix of Gothic, Renaissance and Romanesque styles.
