These tests showed that withthe use of the Recorder alone, themotormen could save inenergy. In 1916 the entire Pacific Elec-tric System was equipped—600Recorders in all—for all classesof service. And the results under the ablemanagement of this great rail-way are constantly improving,both in saving of fuel and inspeeding up of schedules.
