PICTURE BY CHRIS BULL 24/7/12 Ann Annis , mother of Fusilier Simon Annis, from Cadishead who died aged 22 in Afghanistan . Ann has spoken of her disgust after Simon's widow Caroline ,26, listed his posthumously awarded Elizabeth Cross on the online noticeboard Gumtree for just £500. Ann and husband Pete Annis have bought the medal back for £1,757 from the new owner. Pictured at a protest against planned cuts to the British army.
