In the old town isthe Municipio, containing a small collection of Roman antiquitiesfrom Ponte Nervia (see above). The Cathedral, near which is aBaptistery (partly of very ancient date), and the Romanesque churcholSan Michele are interesting; the columns of the latter bear Romaninscriptions.
