The head of the Garw Valley in south Wales, a remote and wild area.

The Garw Valley is an old coal mining valley with no road route out at the top. The head of the valley, whilst once very busy with the coal mining/extraction industry, has now been returned to the rugged and remote upland hill area it used to be.
