There are seven springs, some hot and others cold ;the waters are of an alkaline nature and containarsenic. The hot springs are by far the most important. There are three thermal establishments, of which,the Etablissement des Thermes, is one of the most luxuri-ous in Europe. TREATMENT—Internal and external. RECOMMENDED in cases of affections of the bones,joints, etc., bronchitis, asthma, laryngitis, chloremia,obesity, lymphatism, scrofula, diabetes and childrensdiseases. SEASON—From May 25th to September 30th. Good hotels, villas and pensions. Theatre, casino,concerts and all the usual attractions of a watering place;charming excursions and boating. Distance from Paris 271 miles via Paris, Lyons &Mediterranean Ry. CHATEL GUYON (Puy de Dome). Situated at analtitude of 375 feet. WATERS—There are twenty-eight springs containingiron and magnesium and two thermal establishments. TREATMENT is internal and external. RECOMMENDED in case
