It is fitted up as a handsome salesroom;the wheels, as well as everything about the place,are scrupulously clean. The floors are coveredwith a bright pattern of linoleum. A portion ofthe store is fitted up as a counting room. Messrs. Singer & wheels have long beenimported into this country, formerly by Mr. Everett, and at present by the company, theirresident manager and American representativebeing Mr. W. L. Ross. Mr. Ross reported thatthe business of last year was large enough tomore than gratify the parent house, and thisyear the wheels are shipped off as fast as theyare taken out of the Custom-house.
