We also found several glass floats, torn fromthe nets of the fishermen of the Lofoten Isl-ands off the northwest coast of Norway. Thefloats are peculiar to these fishermen and arelarge, hollow balls blown of a heavy dark-green glass. Remarkable, is it not, that theywere still intact, despite the perils of theirlong voyage in the polar seas ?
