The well known bay at Southerndown near Bridgend where the eroded rock makes way for a beautiful bay that is very popular with day trippers.
A sea eroded inlet forming what is known as "Southerndown" with all the facilities that a day tripper needs in a really beautiful setting with nearby attractions. This bay has a Heritage museum ample car parking along with an lookout hut manned by lifeguards to keep an eye on the crowds in the waters.
