Theware-house extends 350 feet from the frontl)uilding, and is 50 feet wide; this buildingis l)riek, with a covered roof—the eaves ex-tending about ten feet beyond the walls oneach side, affording protection from the sunand rain. The cars run through the centreof the entire building, and in the ware-house,on either side of the cars, is amide room forstorage. To show the dis-patch with which business is done here, we willstate that the design of the latter excellent andvaluable improvement was drawn in February;on the 15th of August the house was finished,furnished and occupied; even to the sign, onwhich is displaved in large gilt letters, THEDEPOT HOUSE By Banner —The hotel is of brick, 3 stories high, thefront fiOxSO feet, with a wing 160 by 20feet.—The balance of the houses erected eastof the Depot are mostly one story framedwellings. West of the Depot, and immedi-ately adjoining the railroad track, there wasbuilt this summer 13 houses, including 5 two-storv ware-houses, two brick, one
