F/A-18F Super Hornet Takes Off
171018-N-MJ135-1300 PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 18, 2017) An F/A-18F Super Hornet assigned to the "Redcocks" of Strike Fighter Attack Squadron (VFA) 22 takes off from the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71). Theodore Roosevelt is underway on a deployment to the 5th and 7th Fleet areas of operation in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts.
