A female black woodpecker feeding its two chicks in the larch forest of Bracigovo , taken from a hide /handheld / keeping Iso down at 2500 / 1/160 sec/ risky but lucky. Often Black woodpeckers make aan xtra hole on the opposite side of the nest as is seen on this picture.
