Blood cell cancer. Light micrograph of blood cells from a lymphatic ganglion in a case of a blood cancer of a mixed cell type. The cells include lymphocytes, lymphoblasts (immature lymphocytes) and reticulocytes (immature red blood cells). Lymphocytes are a type of white blood cell. Blood cell cancers are an excess production of blood cells, classified and named according to the cells affected.
